WELCOME HOME AND CONGRATULATIONS!

We are happy to help you look after yourself and your family.

We know you will have plenty to think about, but we need to remind you about some things.

You will need to register your child with the doctor, ask at reception for a registration form.  Please Note: The child's NHS number will be needed for registration and this will have been given to you at the hospital.

We believe that your own doctor is in the best position to observe and assess the development of your child. We will hold the medical records, we are able to prescribe and offer treatment he or she may need, and we will be the ones who will see your child when he or she is ill. We can also refer for specialist advice if need be.

We hold regular weekly Child Health Clinics at the surgery with the health visitor, practice nurse and doctor. This is a good opportunity to ask about any problems, to have your child weighed, vaccinated and assessed for normal development at the appropriate times. Our clinic is held every Tuesday afternoon between 1pm - 2.15pm  Please do not bring unwell children to the Child Health Clinic.
