The new contract was introduced in April 2004. It included a quality and outcomes framework for general practice to assess a wide range of practice work. It was updated in 2006 with new areas of disease management to examine and more difficult targets. The different areas of work, the criteria examined, and the standards we are aiming for are shown here. The practice met all the quality standards for the in the year 2007/8 achieving the maximum 1050 quality points. The standards that the practice has achieved are shown under each section.
