The new contract was introduced in April 2004. It included a quality and outcomes framework for general practice to assess a wide range of practice work. It was updated again in 2011 with new areas of disease management to examine and more difficult targets. The different areas of work, the criteria examined, and the standards we are aiming for are shown here. The practice met virtually all the quality standards for the in the year 2010/11. The standards that the practice has achieved will be shown under each section after the end of the year 2012.
