Qualified at Newcastle University. Took over the practice when it was a
branch of the Wylam surgery and set it up as an independent practice.
Works for the practice based commissioning group developing services
for patients in the west of Newcastle. Supervises the practice diabetic
clinic. Teaches 2nd and 4th year medical students in the practice.
Interests include health care commissioning and teaching medical
students. Writes a weekly column for the Chronicle.

Member of the REACH service for victims of sexual assault. Special
interest in skin problems. Practice lead for epilepsy, cancer and care
of the elderly.

Qualified at Southampton University. Worked as a district health
officer in Malawi with Voluntary
Service Overseas for 2 years before moving to Newcastle.
Supervises the asthma clinics. Practice lead for vascular disease,
asthma, COPD. Teaches 2nd and 3rd year medical students in the
practice. Special interest in quality management and information
technology.

Registered. BM Bch FPcert DA. Part time.
Qualified at the University of Wales. Worked as a partner in a practice
in Rochdale for 10 years before moving to Newcastle.
Supervises the antenatal and baby clinics. Practice lead for
hypertension. Teaches the third year medical students in the practice
on Thursday mornings.

Qualified at Newcastle University. Supervises the baby clinic alternate
weeks. Works in the family planning clinic at the RVI as well as at the
surgery and provides contraceptive services in the surgery including
coil fittings.
