Foundation doctor training
We are pleased to have started training hospital doctors at the surgery. They have had a full year of experience working on the wards in hospital and will be spending four months at the surgery. Dr Amy Maguire is the first and joined us in August. We hope they will be a valuable addition to the team at the surgery. |
Online access to the surgery
We offer online access to the surgery through our new computer system. You can book and cancel apppointments and order prescriptions. You need to register for the system first. Please contact reception for a user name and password. New patients can register at the surgery following the link on the right hand side too. |
Lemington clinic
We are doing two surgeries a week at Lemington clinic, one on Wednesday morning and the other on Friday afternoon. Appointments should be made through the reception at Newburn as usual. |
Extended hours
The surgery has been offering longer opening hours from November with some earlier mornings, some later evenings and some Saturdays. We hope that this will make it easier for those who cannot make the surgery in normal hours.

Repeat dispensing
The practice is offering repeat dispensing and has been transferring patients who used to get their prescriptions automatically every month onto this new system. If you want to collect regular medication direct from a chemist read on... |
Choose and book
The surgery is taking part in the choose and book programme. You can choose the hospital you want to be referred to. Please ask when you are being referred. Many appointments can be directly booked through the surgery. More... |
