- Apologies to anyone who has been trying to access the website recently. It was unavailable for a time while the site was being moved to a different server. Normal service now resumed.

- Details of the criteria and programmes of the new contract for 2006/7 are
in the quality section giving full details of the targets that
the practice is trying to meet. Follow links on the menu for
Contract 2006 and DES 2006.

- I have had to remove the guestbook due to repeat problems
with spammers posting messages. Apologies to those who have
contributed in the past.

- There is a new section covering the requirements of the new contract for general practice. The contract sets out a detailed framework by which the practice will be judged. The contract does not take effect until 2004. We are in the process of checking our performance against the standards laid out in the contract and when the figures are available they will be published on the website. In the meantime a full list of the criteria to be met in the new contact is shown in the quality section.

- After a long absence we have a new newsletter. Thanks to Tamar Dawson for producing this.
- We are having some problems with spammers posting to the guestbook. I am doing my best to prevent this.

- Apologies to anyone who has been trying to view the site in the past 10 days. Our web host suddenly withdrew services and became uncontactable. We have now moved to a new host. I hope everything is working normally again.
- New audit of cholesterol in ischaemic heart disease to be found in the audit section
- Update on the progress on summarising notes in the audit section together with this year's hypertension audit results.
